PFCS staff gathered on November 20 to celebrate the retirement of Jensen Shirley, EdD, APCC. Jensen began with the agency as a graduate student in 2016.
He contributed to mission fulfillment in so many ways, particularly at Surfside Educational Academy in Oceanside. Jensen deeply cared about students and was very much valued by staff and students alike.
Jensen also had a passion for working with veterans. Before coming to PFCS, he had long professional careers in the military, education, and the corporate world. He was also instrumental in assisting the agency in diversity and inclusion efforts.
We have been warmed by his infectious laugh, benefited from his wisdom, and blessed by his willingness to mentor young therapists as they were finding their own unique ways of working with clients.
Dr. Jensen Shirley, we will miss you!
