Learning to Love Midlife: 12 Reasons Why Life Gets Better With Age. (Author: Chip Conley) This is based on a book of the same title that inspires and encourages those at this life stage to explore the 12 reasons why life gets better with age. It is during midlife that we finally have the tools to handle what life throws at us, and we begin to cut ourselves some slack and stay focused on improving ourselves instead of just proving ourselves. And we become more confident, more compassionate, and more content than before. No matter where you are in your midlife journey, this perspective-shifting workshop will inspire you to find joy, purpose, and success in the years that lie ahead and realize that those years can be your best yet!

Led by Gwen Evans, Professional Clinical Counselor

Dates:         Tuesday February 11, 18  6:00-7:00 pm

Healing From Toxic Relationships: 10 Essential Steps To Recover From Gaslighting, Narcissism, and Emotional Abuse. (Author: Stephanie Moulton Sarkis, PhD). This series is offered as a mini-series of 4 classes that meet weekly. It consists of a lecture using PowerPoint slides, in-class exercises, and checklists. It is very interactive, affirmative, and empowering. Any relationship— whether with a romantic partner, a family member, a friend, or a coworker—takes work. Even the closest relationships will have their ups and downs. But when there is competition, conflict, jealousy, resentment, hostility, abuse, and controlling behavior, it’s a sign that a relationship has become toxic. This workshop is essentially for those who may have recently ended a toxic relationship or perhaps you’re considering leaving one. Life in the aftermath of a toxic relationship can be a struggle. Whatever your situation, what you’re feeling is entirely normal—and it’s within your power to break free. You can heal, and you will feel better.
