The Prevention & Early Intervention Team along with their Incredible Years® friends celebrate mental health awareness month with strategies to stay mentally healthy.
The Incredible Years® model is used as a prevention and early intervention strategy for all children from preschool to third grade. Families are engaged and invited to attend Incredible Years parent training as well. Incredible Years® is recognized as a model program by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Both recognize Incredible Years® trainings to be appropriate for culturally diverse families.
